Hi I’m Scott Borah. I grew up in the Indiana and lived in Illinois, Alaska, Tennessee, and North Carolina. My wife, Danielle and I have been married since 1984 and we have two grown children. Danielle was born and raised around Detroit, Michigan. I enjoy downhill skiing, Euchre, table tennis, and reading/watching criminal or psychological thriller books/movies.
I attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a Marketing Major. I earned my Master's Degree in Marketing Education and Adult/Technical Education. I am currently employed at Early College High School and am responsible for helping students design their individual academic and career development plans.
I became a Christian when I was 24 years, but really did not begin to really serve God until I got out of the traditional church. I love being a Christian! The thing I find most rewarding is that I know that we have a God who loved us so much that he gave his only Son to die for all of past, present, and future sins. This is not just being saved from going to Hell, but about being a part of a family of followers of Christ and enjoying that true friendship. When I think about Jesus, I think about how his life and teachings were in complete odds with the self-proclaimed "religious" leaders of the time. He reached out to those people who were low in status, despised, and often the outcasts of society. He just wants all of us to come to him "just as we are". I want to be the type of Christian that just does not talk the talk each Sunday, but walks the walk each day of the week with constant help from the Holy Spirit.
